The highlight of our evening meeting on April 9th was a talk by Colin Eveleigh. Colin spoke about Mindfulness and how learning to become more mindful in everyday life can bring about well-being and a sense of calm reflection.
Being mindful involves paying close attention to the feelings, sensations, and thoughts of the moment, and studies have shown that Mindfulness can help many people let go of the negative thoughts, worries or unpleasant emotions associated with tinnitus.
Colin guided the group through some simple meditation practices, and there was an opportunity at the end for questions and answers.
It was a fascinating talk, and Colin was a warm and generous speaker.
